Ode To General Patton from Poor Irishman on 7 Days to Independence
Today has been incredibly hectic. The major issue was with the 7 Days To Independence Member Database System. There is a hurdle to be crossed in getting the Member System to speak to the Content Management System. But - although the two put up a fight - I was able to knock them back down and accomplish my goal. The system is now protected from outside visitors. Everyone who wants to SEE the content created for 7 Days To Independence has to become a Member.
Also, the front end of the 7 Days To Independence site got a major face lift today. The Introduction area was reduced to an Audio Message from "General Patton", with a request for visitors to Sign Up for more info as the site launches. Following that the visitor is escorted to a Super Testimonial area. We are allowing our Visitors, Skeptics, Members, and Friends to post their own comments about the Project. They can leave sneers & jeers, rants & raves, or praise & support. Along with their text message the Visitor is asked to leave an Audio Recording, and a Photo of themselves! This is a REALLY great system.
The Daily Teleseminar went well today and I think the whole Team is feeling the pressure that THREE INTENSE Days can bring. If anyone else attempts a project like this - one this massive, over arching, and grand in scale - I really think you should TALK TO ONE OF US FIRST… Ugggh… This is a major push-up! I hope you all enjoy the 7 Days To Independence site when it is complete!
