I Remember You, Welcome Back {Name}!
Hi {Name}! That's a horrible greeting … but if it had said Hi Andy! I would feel better. Better yet, I'd feel genuinely welcomed on the website I just loaded. It's important to greet visitors if you know who they are. Otherwise - they may feel you give them the same value as a new visitor - not a valued client.
There are many excellent ways to optimize your site for Personalization. From slick Javascript code that reads the Address Bar and populates the site with a string of text. To high profile, database intensive programs that evaluate geographic location, IP Address, and other factors … to guess who you are. But what if you could accurately identify guests and speak to them as they move around your site?
That's exactly what the Personlization System offered by Poor Irishman Internet Marketing does for you. This Add-On feature for your Content Management System, the Personlization System can be configured to pick up any Customer detail you want. The user profile of your customers is a very valuable part of your database. Not just the Name, Email, and Phone Number - but the Last Visit Timestamp, Favorite Article, Membership Renewal Date… Anything you know or have collected about your Customer can be used.
Properly using personalization is another matter. One that I am sure your Grandmother could tell you more about. My Grandmother still types some of her letters on an old typewriter, on thin paper, using a bold black ink ribbon. Each of her letters is personally addressed to the reader - and contains points of interest to that recipient. The letter would never read the same for two different people. Your personalization should read like my Grandmother's letters… Personal!
But how do you optimize website content for general visitors AND return customers?
That's gotta be a lot of work… Or you could call Poor Irishman Internet Marketing to go over some methods you can use immediately to improve your website personlization.
I also invite you to take advantage of our Free Website Consultation - always available on the site.
