Cantata Means Singing

Well not officially - see Dictionary.com for the real meaning!

But today was the Wesley Church Cantata - and it was incredible.  Jessica had been working with the Choir for several months.  Planning, preparing, and practicing for this day.  Two performances - one at the 9 AM Service, and another at the 11 AM.  She did an incredible job!  I think everyone was blown away at the talent, range, and ability of our small choir.

I was very proud of Jessica too - for teaching them those difficult pieces, and for her presence while conducting!  She looks like a natural up there - bopping around, and waving her hands.  I really think she should maintain some place in music her entire life.  She certainly has a gift, and it brings her so much joy.  Even if the only thing I can offer is to operate the CD Player like I did to assist with the cantata!  Again, Merry Christmas to everyone!!
