Accounting and Abandonia

Finalyl Finally Friday

Had a big meeting with the Accountant this morning. Which went very well. All my books and record keeping seem to be in order, and I am not in trouble so far. His suggestion is to hold back my taxes in a savings account until year end when I can draw from the account to pay off Uncle Sam. Then off to get oil changed, do some Christmas shopping, run errands, and finally head home.

Friday night was spent out with Jessica for more Christmas shopping and dinner in Salisbury. We went to a little place called Salsarita's - Mexican. It was pretty good, very fresh, and I was stuffed full! Worth the $5 each. We also got a ton of shopping done, and stayed out pretty late which I think wore her out…
That night I came home and found Abandonia.com online. It's an abandonware website for DOS games, and DOSBox Emulator. I actually located Ultima 6, Darklands and many other favorite games I had as a kid! Then I looked up Ultima 5: Lazarus project details! This was a fan supported project I was watching for years… It has been over 5 years in the making - but finally It has been released!! I can't wait to find time to play the Ultima 5 world in sharp action packed 3D - while still keeping alive characters in the isometric U6 universe!!
