Get out and VOTE!
It's Tuesday November 7, 2006! And it's an Election Day! All across the country the little people are marking ballots and making known who they want to rule over them. I took myself to the polls this afternoon, and had a blast. This was the first time I ever voted in Delaware. I was living in West Virginia when I was able to vote over the age of 18, and the George W Bush Presidential Election was the first time I voted. Well - I am glad to say I voted, and it was a great time.
Early this morning, my Uncle Manning Waller passed away. He was very ill with diabetes and other complications, but Tuesday was his last day with us. He has two sisters - my Grandmother, and Aunt Ruth. And he has a pretty large family to survive him. It's a bitter-sweet day for our family. But many of us are hopeful for the day we will see him again in Heaven. The funeral arrangements were set for Thursday November 8. This is also - unfortunately - the same date as Robbie's Grandmother's funeral.
Life online continues to evolve… Microsoft annouced today that the Virtual Earth tool they created will allow 3D Billboards… A stab at Google's Earth program? Or a spin off of the future Flight Simulator line? Either way it's a neat improvement - and another step closer to the Metaverse…
