Woodbridge Career Day and Bringing in the Sheaves

This morning started early as I was a member of the "Business Sector" asked to speak at Woodbridge High School Career Day. I procrastinated and prepared my talk last night. There really is not a lot to talk about with Poor Irishman.com yet. The company just started in September. So I took the tact of telling the kids how I got interested in programming, and website design & marketing. I think they appreciated the comments and the discussion. I am just happy I was able to help my Sister-In-Law Jill with her project. She said it has been weeks in preparing, but everything went pretty smoothly.

Maybe it is something in the air - or just great timing - but the phone has been ringing off the hook today. Some older quotes are finally coming into approval stage. A few new contacts are ready and eager to move with their website ideas. If this keeps up, I will have to hire some help! But the bad side of having all these clients - as if there could be a bad side - is that my "Passion Projects" are getting delayed. To date I have THREE major Passion Projects I now have the ability to tackle… The one element missing… TIME.
If you are reading this - I could use some feedback. Both personal and professional. I am offering a FREE copy of Who Moved My Cheese? to all my PIM Newsletter Subscribers. All they have to do is invite 10 friends to sign up for the Tower Times Newsletter and when those friends subscribe - they get a book! I think it's a great experiment in viral marketing - and I am looking forward to the results. SO - to that end - I am making the same offer here. Encourage 10 people to sogn up for the PIM Tower Times Newsletter, and when they all subscribe - you get a book!!
